Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop Creative Writing content that meet campaign objectives and brief requirements
  • Draft the Monthly Content Calendar for Social Media channels and supervise their development
  • Work closely with the Communication Team to generate consumer and industry insights that aim to enhance the company’s communication and relevance to the target audience
  • Support the development of Editorials and Press releases which help the company to convey key messages that address various stakeholders
  • Support other functions within the company to meet their objectives and targets by developing high quality Creative Writing content
  • Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and processes in order for the daily work to be carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
  • Regularly remain updated with Industry Trends and Organizational Developments to help develop more insightful and impactful ideas and content to help Nana meet its marketing and business objectives.
  • Researching relevant industry topics to identify new content.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Creative, Marketing team, and other relevant stakeholders to understand project objectives, target audience, and brand guidelines.
  • Create high-quality, innovative, and impactful written content for various marketing materials, including but not limited to, website copy, social media posts, email campaigns, product descriptions, video scripts, in-app messaging and advertising copy.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our brand voice, style, and messaging guidelines to ensure consistency across all communication channels.
  • Research industry trends, competitive landscape, and target audience preferences to generate fresh and relevant content ideas.
  • Edit and proofread your own work, ensuring accuracy, clarity, proper grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with designers, animators, and other team members to ensure that written content aligns seamlessly with visual elements.
  • Stay updated on emerging content and digital marketing trends to continuously refine and improve our content strategy.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively while maintaining a high standard of quality and creativity.
  • Provide constructive feedback and contribute to brainstorming sessions within the creative team.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a professional copywriter, ideally within an agency or in-house creative team.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and a strong grasp of grammar and punctuation.
  • Portfolio showcasing a variety of writing styles, tones, and formats, demonstrating your ability to adapt your voice to different audiences and platforms.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices to optimize content for search engines and improve organic visibility is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
  • A passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends, creative innovations, and emerging technologies.
