We are looking for a Senior Frontend React Developer who has a passion for building scalable, resilient and performant financial services applications. You will be part of a tightly knit team with one more frontend developer. You will be developing and shipping customer facing features that will have a direct impact on the business. You will also have the opportunity to influence our architecture and drive changes.

What you will do

Work on the core UI/UX for customer-facing features and internal tools.
Design and implement robust modular components that will underpin our web application.
Architect the frontend codebase to scale and resolve performance issues.
Improve test coverage across the frontend codebase.
Collaborate closely with Product, UX, and Backend engineers to execute our roadmap.
Identify ways to improve our logging, monitoring, and APM; design and implement improvements to overall observability and performance.
Define and implement frontend engineering best practices that will improve development speed and application security and performance.
Keep up to date with the latest frontend technologies and adopt them within Mamo.
Maintain externally shared packages / libraries.

What we’re looking for

Ability to balance fast feature delivery and quality of releases.
A pro at monitoring live systems and troubleshooting and fixing production issues.
A true believer in the power of documentation, open communication and knowledge sharing.
Highly skilled with breaking down problems and requirements, and identifying design implications.
Ability to work independently, with little supervision, in a fast-paced environment.
Interest in growing as a technical leader and influencing architectural decisions.
Experienced with using AI tools to improve speed and quality of deliverables.

You have

6+ years of hands-on development with Typescript, HTML & CSS/SCSS.
4 years of hands-on development in React JS.
A track record of developing and scaling web-based applications and a deep technical understanding of JavaScript.
Experience with state management systems, routing and react hooks.
Extensive experience using and configuring testing frameworks including E2E testing tools such as Playwright.
A solid understanding of CSR, SSR, SSG and client side hydration and are able to implement them.
Experience working with various monitoring tools.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Bonus if you have

Payments, Fraud, Risk, E-Commerce or Finance background
Experience working with Ruby on Rails
