Role Description

This full-time Finance Manager role is located in Amman with flexibility for some remote work. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, managing financial reporting and audits, assist in developing budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. Competitive compensation. The role will entail the below 3 key areas:

Financial control / day to day books:

  • Setting up the books, systems and processes
  • Expense management, payments, invoicing and day to day monitoring
  • Preparation of financial statements and management reports on a periodic basis (both on the individual entity level and consolidated)
  • Transaction monitoring for Zest's transacting entities (overseeing the operations team, with reconciliation across different banking / payment partners)
  • Support on tax reporting / filing and requirements
  • Key is to leverage tools and digitize as much of this as possible

Third party consultants / other areas:

  • Liaising / leading annual external audits
  • Liaising with third party consultants on tax and any other jurisdiction specific requirements

Strategic finance, reporting and analytics:

  • Financial modeling and projections
  • Support on financial reporting and requirements
  • Analytics to support decision making across strategio areas, including pricing, budgeting, initiatives / market launch assessments...
  • Setting KPls and automated dashboards
  • Content, financial tools / interactive templates database for our users as we grow!

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis across IFRS (GAAP is a plus)
  • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency with financial software, such as QuickBooks or Xero
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is a plus
  • MBA or CPA certification is preferred
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry across one of the big 4
  • Fluency in English is needed, Arabic is a plus
