Team Description
The Media Solutions team works with global brands, airlines, and travel partners to deliver high-performing digital advertising campaigns across Wego’s platforms. Combining creativity with data and technology, the team drives commercial growth by connecting partners with travelers through innovative ad formats, media partnerships, and strategic collaborations.
The Role
The Campaign Specialist will play a key role within the Media Solutions team, overseeing and optimizing advertising campaigns across direct and programmatic channels. This role combines strong advertising operations expertise with hands-on programmatic media buying capabilities to ensure consistent campaign delivery and performance excellence.
Working closely with sales, creative, and internal stakeholders, the Campaign Specialist will manage execution, optimization, reporting, and troubleshooting across platforms, contributing directly to campaign success and operational quality.
What you will be working on
Managing and optimizing advertising campaigns across direct platforms including Google Ad Manager and Campaign Manager 360
Planning and executing programmatic media buying strategies across platforms such as DV360 and other DSPs
Monitoring pacing, targeting, segmentation, inventory selection, and bid strategies
Analyzing campaign performance data and providing actionable insights to improve CTR, efficiency, and ROI
Troubleshooting delivery, tracking, and performance issues across platforms
Aligning campaign objectives, creatives, and targeting strategies with sales and creative teams
Ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and performance measurement
Communicating campaign performance clearly with internal stakeholders and clients
Supporting operational excellence and sharing best practices within the team
Staying up to date with industry trends and platform updates to continuously improve performance
Core Responsibilities
Own end-to-end campaign execution across direct and programmatic channels
Ensure campaigns meet agreed KPIs and performance benchmarks
Provide data-driven recommendations to improve campaign outcomes
Maintain platform accuracy, tracking integrity, and reporting standards
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless campaign launches and delivery
Contribute to operational process improvements within Ad Operations
Skills and Experience
5+ years of experience in digital advertising operations, including campaign trafficking and programmatic buying
Strong hands-on experience with Google Ad Manager, Campaign Manager 360, DV360, and familiarity with DSPs and SSPs
Experience planning and executing programmatic media buying strategies
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and optimize accordingly
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools such as Looker or Google Data Studio
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
