Team Description:

The SEO team is responsible for driving organic growth across Wego’s platforms by creating high-quality, search-optimised content informed by data, user intent and performance insights. The team combines technical SEO, content strategy and analytics to ensure Wego’s content is discoverable, relevant and valuable to travelers across global markets.

The Role:

The Content Writer (Data & GenAI) is responsible for creating clear, engaging and insight-led content using proprietary data and datasets. The role combines strong writing skills with data literacy and the effective use of generative AI tools to research, ideate and optimise content while maintaining accuracy, quality and brand consistency.

What you will be working on:

• Create high-quality content grounded in proprietary data and datasets

• Review dashboards and performance data to identify insights and content angles

• Pitch story ideas and narratives based on trends and data signals

• Use GenAI tools such as ChatGPT for research, ideation, content variants and optimisation

• Ensure all AI-assisted content meets quality, accuracy and brand standards

• Collaborate with design and data teams to deliver content on time

• Fact-check data points and sources to ensure credibility and accuracy

Core Responsibilities:

• Translate data and insights into clear and engaging written content

• Develop data-driven narratives that are accurate and easy to understand

• Maintain consistency in tone, structure and quality across content outputs

• Manage multiple content pieces and deadlines independently

Skills and experience:

• Excellent written communication skills in English

• Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets and dashboards such as GA4, Looker or similar tools

• Demonstrable experience using AI writing or research tools as part of a content workflow

• Strong data storytelling, research and fact-checking skills with a high attention to detail

• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines and handle multiple projects

• Experience in data storytelling or a relevant content portfolio is a plus
