Director of Sales

WegoPro (part of Wego) is a revolutionary platform aimed at modernizing and simplifying business travel. WegoPro builds tools to help businesses manage their business travel and expenses more efficiently. WegoPro's mission is to empower businesses with tools that help them reduce costs and improve productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve WegoPro’s business goals.

Lead and mentor the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring continuous development.

  • Sales Operations:

Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities through direct prospecting, lead follow-up, networking, and partner/channel relationships.

Create and execute a robust mutual action plan and closing strategy in collaboration with the sales leadership team.

  • Revenue Generation:

Drive revenue growth to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Oversee the sales process from qualification to close, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Market Insight:

Maintain a deep understanding of the territory, marketplace, competitive landscape, and other relevant business issues.

Manage complex sales cycles related to ecommerce and marketing SaaS.

  • Collaboration:

Partner with other functional teams to maximize business development activities. Develop and maintain relationships with partners and third parties to expand opportunities.

  • Customer Engagement:

Deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations.

Travel to customer locations as required to foster relationships and close deals. Feedback and Improvement:

Provide actionable feedback from field experiences to internal cross-functional teams regarding product, sales strategies, competitive landscape, and market needs.

Requirements:

  1. Educational Background:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related fields. An MBA is preferred.

  1. Experience:

10+ years of B2B technology sales experience, with a proven track record in SaaS sales.

Demonstrated success in setting and achieving sales processes and metrics.

3. Skills and Competencies:

Strong leadership and team management skills with a motivational and collaborative approach.

Metrics-driven mindset with a strong analytical approach.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams.

Aggressive attitude in developing new accounts and building lasting relationships.

Ability to travel >30% of the time.
