About the role:
As a Senior IT Specialist at Wego, you will manage the company's technological infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance of IT systems and services. Your role will include managing complex IT projects, providing advanced technical support, and leading IT initiatives to meet the company's long-term strategic goals. The successful candidate should have a good understanding of various requirements at the workplace and develop problem-solving and optimal troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, networks, and related infrastructure.
• Manage and support network and data security, including setup of network access controls and firewall configurations.
• Lead the evaluation, deployment, and management of new technologies and software, ensuring they meet the company’s needs.
• Provide expert-level support in troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
• Coordinate with vendors and external partners to secure IT products and services.
• Manage the onboarding and offboarding IT processes for Wego employees.
• Maintain documentation for system configurations, databases, and operational procedures.
• Regularly review and enhance IT systems to increase efficiency and implement upgrades.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on IT systems and cybersecurity best practices.

• Keep all the company's SaaS software up to date and running smoothly, including tools like JIRA, Office 365, GitHub, Postman, Google Workspace, Looker, Pritunl VPN, 3CX, Freshdesk, Zoom, Adobe, Confluence, Sentry, Datadog, and others.
• Oversee the registration and setup of domain names (top-level and country code top-level domains) across various countries.
• Help all Wego employees solve their technical problems, whether face-to-face, over the phone, or through video calls.
• Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems
• Setup and configuration of DNS, Router, Access Points, and Firewall configuration.
• Support the roll-out of new applications.
• Rapidly establish a good working relationship with software developers, commercial, sales, HR, and other departments.
• Test and evaluate new technology available in the market.
• Regularly update the documentation for IT policies to ensure they remain current and effective.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a senior IT role.
• Strong knowledge of computer systems (MAC, Linux, Windows), network technologies, and cloud services (AWS, GCP).
• Experience with SaaS tools such as JIRA, Office 365, GitHub, Postman, Google Workspace, and others.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide hands-on technical support.
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with MDM, SSO, and Password Management.
• Familiarity with cloud services like AWS and GCP is a plus.
