Volt Lines is a technology powered mobility platform aiming to solve urban mobility problems. We view empty seats in traffic as both the cause of the problem and its solution. There are more than 50,000 buses in Istanbul operating at 9% efficiency and we want to solve this problem. Making shuttle buses smarter, more efficient, and dynamic, we create an alternative transportation network that can replace even car ownership. About the Role

As a Full Stack Engineer at Volt Lines, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining our software applications. You will work on both the front-end and back-end, collaborating with a team of developers to deliver innovative solutions for our platform.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using modern technologies.
• Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to define, design, and ship new features.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance.
• Perform code reviews and share feedback with team members.
• Work towards improving our development processes and best practices.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and be willing to adapt to new tools and techniques.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in full-stack development.
• Solid experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Vue.js.
• Proficient in back-end technologies including Python (Django or Flask), or other modern frameworks.
• Experience working with databases, SQL and NoSQL.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.

Nice to have:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD.
• Background in geospatial technologies or services.
