Volt Lines is a technology powered mobility platform aiming to solve urban mobility problems. We view empty seats in traffic as both the cause of the problem and its solution. There are more than 50,000 buses in Istanbul operating at 9% efficiency and we want to solve this problem. Making shuttle buses smarter, more efficient, and dynamic, we create an alternative transportation network that can replace even car ownership. About the Role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our engineering team. In this position, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of robust applications that keep our mobility platform running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Collaborate with other developers to ensure the integration of new features.
• Test and debug your applications to ensure high performance and responsiveness.
• Stay abreast of technology trends and apply them to improve our systems.
• Produce documentation for software specifications and processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Go.
• Experience with responsive frontends using Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience in full stack web application development with Django and Vue or React frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
