Volt Lines is a technology powered mobility platform aiming to solve urban mobility problems. We view empty seats in traffic as both the cause of the problem and its solution. There are more than 50,000 buses in Istanbul operating at 9% efficiency and we want to solve this problem. Making shuttle buses smarter, more efficient and dynamic, we create an alternative transportation network that can replace even car ownership. About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data architecture. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, implement robust data pipelines, and ensure data quality and integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the data team on research and development of our TÜBİTAK project “Yapay Zeka ile Servis Ağına Uyumlu Müşteri Önerme Sistemi”.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines for processing and analyzing large volumes of data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
• Optimize and tune existing data infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Develop and implement data quality and data governance processes.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our data engineering practices.
