We’re seeking a QA Engineer – Manual who is passionate about delivering high-quality software and seamless user experiences. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring Verto’s platform is robust, reliable, and user-friendly. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance software quality, ensuring that products meet both functional and non-functional requirements.

In this role, you will:

  • Create Comprehensive Test Plans: Design and document test strategies and detailed test cases based on requirements and user stories.

  • Execute Manual Testing: Conduct functional, exploratory, usability, and regression testing across web and mobile platforms to ensure optimal performance.

  • Identify and Document Issues: Log defects with clear, detailed steps to reproduce and work closely with developers to ensure resolution.

  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with product managers, designers, and developers to review requirements, identify edge cases, and ensure testability.

  • Validate APIs and System Integrations: Perform manual testing of APIs and integrations to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

  • Support Release Processes: Participate in release readiness reviews and perform final quality checks before production deployment.

  • Contribute to Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback on processes and tools, helping to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of QA efforts.

  • Maintain Test Documentation: Update and organize test cases, test plans, and other documentation to ensure alignment with the latest product updates.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Ensuring high-quality releases by identifying and addressing potential defects before production.

  • Collaborating with teams to align testing efforts with business priorities.

  • Supporting the team in maintaining a high standard of quality assurance processes.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.

  • Experience: Proven experience as a QA Engineer – Manual or a similar role in software testing.

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

    • Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.

    • Basic understanding of APIs and database testing is a plus.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify, analyze, and document defects effectively.

  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for identifying edge cases and testing scenarios.

  • Collaboration: Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
