Key Responsibilities

  • Process Optimization: Analyse existing operational processes and identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
  • Project Management: Coordinate and manage projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards. Monitor project progress, allocate resources effectively, and resolve any issues or bottlenecks that may arise.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability to meet customer demands. Implement inventory control measures to minimize wastage and optimize inventory turnover.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts, manage deliveries, and maintain positive relationships. Evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for improvements when necessary.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish quality control procedures to maintain high standards of products or services. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify any deviations from quality requirements and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyse operational data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Generate reports and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor operational staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. Foster a collaborative and cohesive work environment to maximize team performance.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies. Stay updated on relevant regulations and implement necessary changes to ensure adherence.
  • Customer Service: Collaborate with customer service teams to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and enhance overall customer satisfaction. Implement strategies to improve service levels and exceed customer expectations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization by encouraging innovation, experimentation, and learning. Engage stakeholders at all levels to solicit feedback and drive positive change.

Who We're Looking For

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
    • 2+ experience in operations management or a similar role, preferably in a relevant industry.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
    • Excellent project management abilities, including planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems or other relevant software.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels.
    • Leadership qualities with a track record of effectively leading and motivating teams.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to the organization.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
