About the Role

Toters is seeking an experienced and empathetic engineering leader to manage our Cloud Services team in a 1000+ employee organization. This role combines hands-on multi-cloud expertise with strategic leadership, driving cloud-native transformation, establishing platform best practices, and ensuring infrastructure scales with business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and mentor 7+ cloud engineers.
• Implement competency frameworks and career growth plans.
• Foster an inclusive, innovative culture and scale recruitment.
  

Cloud Architecture & Multi-Cloud Strategy

• Manage AWS, GCP, and Azure infrastructure.
• Develop technology roadmaps and optimize costs.
• Lead enterprise architecture and governance initiatives.

Site Reliability & Platform Engineering

• Implement SRE practices, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Drive automation, monitoring, and incident management.

Strategic Planning & Business Alignment

• Align infrastructure with business goals and budgets.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Security teams.

Technical Operations & Innovation

• Hands-on in architecture, containerization, and disaster recovery.
• Champion adoption of emerging cloud technologies.

Qualifications

Mid-Level:

• 5+ years cloud engineering, 3+ years people management.
• Multi-cloud experience (AWS primary).
• Proven infrastructure scaling and team development experience.

Senior-Level:

• 7+ years cloud engineering, 5+ years leading teams.
• Expert multi-cloud management, enterprise scaling.
• Experience in competency frameworks and strategic initiatives.

Technical Skills (All Levels)

• AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3), Terraform/CloudFormation, Kubernetes/Docker.
• CI/CD, DevOps, scripting (Python/Bash/Go), networking, security, monitoring.

Soft Skills

• Communication, collaboration, problem-solving, adaptability.
• Senior level: strategic thinking, empathetic leadership, innovation.
