The Supply Chain Manager will lead the company’s supply chain operations, collaborating with other departments to develop effective business plans. Strong teamwork, leadership, project management, and communication skills are essential for success in this role. This position requires regular travel to oversee operations in Lebanon, Iraq, and any potential new locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Create the company’s supply chain strategy and implement subsequent changes to the process if need be
  • Analyze current inventories and procedures and suggests improvements to increase the efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company
  • Establish performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain
  • Monitor the performance of suppliers, by assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements
  • Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
  • Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
  • Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth through identifying and qualifying new and old suppliers
  • Organize and manage the Supply Chain team in full accordance with the company’s policies, standard operating procedures, and work instructions
  • Train and guide the Supply Chain employees, and all company’s employees through trainings and refresher sessions on the department’s policies and procedures
  • Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain if need be
  • Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
  • Oversee supply chain operations in Lebanon, Iraq, and any potential new locations, ensuring consistency and alignment with company goals.
  • Travel regularly as needed to supervise, support, and optimize regional operations.

Qualifications:

  • BA in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or any related field. Masters is a plus
  • 5+ years of diversified and progressive work experience in procurement, order fulfillment, logistics, and/or supply chain systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers
  • Strong leadership and proven ability to direct, train, and manage teams of personnel
  • Solution oriented with a high sense of quality, attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency, and meeting tight deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within deadline and prioritize effectively, while delivering high quality work
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Willingness and availability to travel, and perform other duties as needed
