The Role

Are you a Laravel expert who writes secure code by default?
We’re looking for a Backend Engineer with 4+ years of PHP experience to build robust APIs and develop security-focused middleware for our Laravel applications.

Join us in creating scalable, secure backend systems where security isn’t an afterthought—it’s part of every line of code.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Laravel 9+
• Build custom middleware for authentication, authorization, and request validation
• Implement OWASP Top 10 security principles in production environments
• Create RESTful APIs with proper input validation and secure session management
• Optimize database performance using Eloquent ORM and caching strategies
• Write unit and integration tests, including security-focused test cases
• Collaborate with frontend teams and participate in agile development cycles

Key Qualifications

• 4+ years of PHP development experience (3+ years with Laravel 9+)
• Proven expertise in developing secure middleware and API endpoints
• Strong understanding of OWASP vulnerabilities and practical mitigation techniques
• Experience with URL signing, OpenSSL, and Laravel’s built-in security features
