We are looking for a sharp, agile thinker with a strong strategic mindset to help us unlock our next phase of growth. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, tackle bottlenecks, and drive company-wide initiatives that move the needle.

As a Senior Strategy Manager at Toters, your mission is to drive strategic clarity, surface actionable insights, and accelerate decision-making in one of the most dynamic startups in the Middle East. That’s it—the rest is up to you.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Strategic Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to define and refine the company's strategic vision, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives.
  • Initiative Leadership: Lead the development, communication, and design of corporate strategies, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with key stakeholders across commercial, finance, marketing, and product to drive alignment and execution of strategic priorities.

Operational Oversight & Project Management

  • Project Leadership: Oversee high-impact projects, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
  • Governance & Compliance: Oversee the governance of strategic projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and regulatory requirements.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • OKR Monitoring: Track and report on company-wide Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze internal performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for the board, investors, and senior leadership, providing insights into performance metrics and strategic initiatives.

Market Intelligence & Research

  • Industry Analysis: Conduct research to understand industry players, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Business Unit Performance: Assess the performance of each business unit across different geographies, focusing on profitability and health metrics.
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify new business opportunities and recommend strategic initiatives to capitalize on emerging trends.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Executive Support: Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing strategic counsel on a wide array of issues.
  • External Engagement: Manage external relationships, including partnerships, client interactions, and vendor agreements, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of strategy professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Talent Development: Provide guidance and mentorship to senior staff and emerging leaders, nurturing talent within the organization.
  • Partnerships & M&A Strategy
    Strategic Partnerships: Identify, evaluate, and cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances that drive growth, enhance capabilities, and expand market reach.
    Deal Sourcing & Evaluation: Source potential M&A opportunities aligned with the company’s strategic objectives; conduct due diligence, financial modeling, and risk assessment.
    Transaction Management: Lead end-to-end execution of partnership agreements and M&A transactions, coordinating cross-functional teams including legal, finance, and operations.
    Post-Merger Integration: Oversee integration efforts post-acquisition to ensure synergy realization, cultural alignment, and operational continuity.
    Market Scanning: Continuously scan the market for inorganic growth opportunities and assess their strategic fit with the company’s vision.

Requirements:

  • MBA or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in corporate strategy, consulting, or transformation
  • Demonstrated success in leading complex, cross-functional projects
  • Advanced financial modeling and data analysis expertise
  • Strong leadership, influencing, and communication skills
  • Experience working with executive leadership and/or board members
