As we continue to grow, we're looking for a dynamic HR Officer to join our team and support our warehouse operations.
Job Overview: The HR Officer will play a pivotal role in streamlining our hiring processes, managing employee relations, and ensuring that our warehouse operations run smoothly. This role requires a proactive individual who can oversee the HR needs of our warehouse, from recruitment to training and performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
1- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent for warehouse roles in order to ensure sufficient picker availability in all warehouses
- Coordinate and conduct interviews, background checks, and oversee the onboarding process for new hires.
- In order to fulfil the recruitment and onboarding successfully, you will be required to spend more than 50% of your time in the warehouses where such activities will take place
2- Training & Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate training sessions for warehouse staff.
- Develop and implement training programs to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
3- Employee Relations:
- Serve as the main point of contact for warehouse staff regarding HR concerns.
- Manage conflict resolution and address any workplace grievances.
4- Compensation & Benefits:
- Oversee payroll processing for warehouse staff.
- Manage employee benefits and address any related queries.
5- Compliance:
- Ensure all HR practices within the warehouse are compliant with labor laws and regulations including but not limited to enrolling warehouse staff in NSSF, registering staff contracts etc..
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and ensure Toters Fresh adheres to them.
6- Culture & Engagement:
- Organize team-building activities and events to foster a positive work environment.
- Promote and uphold the company's values and culture within the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Human Resources preferably in Grocery
- Presence at the warehouses is required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
- High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.
