The Creative Director is involved in the development of creative concepts, working with all disciplines including designers to build cohesive and effective campaigns. Their focus is on the visual design and art direction of advertising campaigns. They ensure the visual design aligns with the overall creative direction and strategy of the campaign, and that it effectively communicates the desired message to the target audience.

Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we’d like to meet you!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Helps develop and review creative briefs that provide strategic insight(s) and creative inspiration
  • Develops and evaluates creative concepts, copy and art, at pre-determined points and providing direction prior to review by marketing
  • Manages the workload to maximize the productivity and quality of work from the creative team
  • Effectively communicate creative concepts and strategies to our internal team
  • Manages multiple projects from concept through to completion, working with both in-house resources and third-party vendors
  • Build on current social media toolkits while abiding by the brand book
  • Mentors and trains team members, write performance reviews, and allocate work

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7-9+ years of experience in the field
  • A proven track record of conceptual creative ability and judgment
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Successful experience in managing creatives
  • Understanding of consumer behaviors and industry trends
  • Familiarity with design software and technologies (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, After Effect or Premiere Pro)
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work methodically and meet strict deadlines
