Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of HR specialists to execute on talent acquisition, employee relations, and compensation and benefits
  • Manage the talent acquisition process, which includes recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, and professional roles
  • Managing employee relations by managing the relationship between employees and dealing with any disputes and disagreements
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Process payroll by ensuring meticulous implementation of payroll and benefits
  • Onboarding and inducting new staff by formally introducing them to the company, their colleagues and their new role and helping them to settle in
  • Promoting equal opportunities by encouraging equality and diversity as part of the company culture and recruitment strategy
  • Ensuring legal compliance by making sure that the company remains compliant with current employment law, policies and regulations
  • Conduct eNPS and employee satisfaction surveys and recommend initiatives to maintain high morale and retain Toters star employees by suggesting corrective actions
  • Sustain employee benefits programs and inform employees of any new benefits by studying and assessing trends; recommending benefit programs to management
  • Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of human resource management experience and in managing a small to medium team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
