Operations Excellence & Automation Specialist
Operations
Dubai - United Arab Emirates
Who we are:
Stake is the MENA region’s leading real estate fintech company, combining real estate expertise and financial technology to deliver products that empower everyone to own and build wealth through real estate. Launched in 2021, we’ve grown rapidly to 600+ properties and are expanding into new international markets and business lines.
The Operations Team:
Stake’s Operations team delivers on the promise we make to investors: from the day a property joins the platform to the day it exits, we make fractional ownership work. We sit at the centre of the business, and we are currently building the operating machine that a portfolio of this size needs: documented processes, real controls, and automation replacing manual work.
We are looking for an Operations Excellence & Automation Specialist to make that machine run better every quarter. Reporting directly to the SVP of Company Operations, you will find where work breaks or repeats, design the fix with Product and the teams who run the process, deliver it, and hand it back so it runs without you. You will own how our operations are documented, measured and automated, so the cost of running the portfolio grows more slowly than the portfolio itself.
This is an operations role that works closely with Product, not a product management role. If you’re energised by turning manual, error-prone work into simple, well-run processes, this is the job.
🚀What you’ll do:
Process excellence:
Own Stake’s operations process register and documentation, from high-level maps to step-by-step SOPs, with a named owner and backup for every process.
Map every process and write detailed SOPs for the core ones, with a review cadence so documentation stays live, not filed and forgotten.
Run root-cause analysis on recurring incidents and errors, and turn the findings into process or system changes.
Automation and tooling:
Build and prioritise the operations automation backlog by volume, risk and effort.
Scope requirements, write clear specifications, run user acceptance testing and sign off releases before they reach the teams.
Deliver changes across our core money flows: dividend automation, receivables, payable approval rules, payment integrations and data capture in our admin platform.
Use AI where it removes real work, and be clear about where a person is still needed.
Working with Product and Tech:
Bring one consolidated, prioritised list of operations change requests to Product, with the problem and its operational impact for each.
Agree priority and timing with Product, and keep the operations teams close to the work, so they can work directly with Product rather than only through you.
Data and metrics:
Keep our admin platform, CRM and property management system consistent, with one source of truth for each type of data.
Turn our KPI catalogue into live dashboards, and build the incident monitoring that surfaces problems when they happen, not when someone notices.
Change management:
Pilot, measure and hand over each change with SOPs and training, so the process owner runs it from day one.
Measure before and after, so every change shows what it saved in time, errors or cost.
This role doesn’t run day-to-day processing. When a change goes live, the team that owns the process runs it.
👀 What we’re looking for:
5+ years in business operations, process improvement, business systems or operations excellence, ideally in fintech, financial services or startups.
A track record of mapping, documenting and automating manual, error-prone processes, with the before and after to show for it.
Hands-on with data. You’re comfortable in spreadsheets and SQL, and you can build a dashboard that answers a real question.
An AI-first instinct. When you look at a manual process, you’re already asking what a machine could handle and where a person is genuinely needed. You’ve used AI and low-code tools to remove real work.
An operations-first mindset. You measure success by how well the teams run, not by what you build, and you like sitting with the people who run the process.
You think in systems. When something breaks, you ask why the process allowed it, not just how to fix the instance.
Comfort working with engineers: you write clear requirements, test releases properly and know what’s technically possible. You don’t need to write code.
Clear communication, with the ability to bring teams along through change and manage up to senior leadership.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment, where priorities shift and you still deliver.
A bachelor’s degree (a master’s is a plus).
Fluency in English.
😇 Why you should join Stake:
Hybrid work environment
Work directly with senior leadership in one of the region’s fastest-growing startups. You’ll have exposure to every function and the chance to shape how the company operates.
Generous equity compensation. As Stake grows, you grow with it.
Budget for learning and development.
Best-in-class end-of-service savings scheme through the DIFC DEWS programme.
Regular team events and off-sites.
Stake has a high-performance culture where the bar is always rising. We bring on ambitious, curious people who see the value in what we’re building and want to grow with us.
