Job purpose:
The Senior BI Engineer is the facilitator of reporting, monitoring, tracking, visualization, and optimized data warehousing. The ideal candidate is a self-driven data guru who will manage stakeholder relationships and analysis requests, break down requirements, maintain SLAs, and design highly efficient dashboards (in terms of architecture, cost, and visual optimization). Additionally, the Senior BI engineers will be co-owners of the data warehouse and will play a role in its continual improvement, development, and optimization independently or in collaboration with the data engineering unit. Finally, the Senior BI engineer will become a key driver within our engineering and technology squads to ensure the maximum data quality, consistency, and trackability as pseudo-data product managers.

Main Responsibilities:
- Extract data from various sources, transforming, and cleaning it to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Design and maintain data warehouse infrastructure to enable efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Conduct data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that support business decision-making.
- Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the data pipelines.
- Identify and implement optimizations to improve data processing and query performance.
- Meet and manage stakeholder requests by carefully analyzing requirements to produce the most effective results.
- Act mentors to younger engineers, helping to guide their performance and development
- 3-5 years of experience as BI Engineer
- CS or any analytics-related degree or proven track record in terms of experience
- Power BI with DAX skills
- Experience with SQL and Python
- Strong data visualization skills
- BigQuery and Google Cloud
- Excel skills
