Role overview
Given our exciting and progressive growth plans, we are looking for an exceptional Video Content Specialist to come and join our global business.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video production, animation and storytelling, with a passion for creating engaging, educational content. You will be responsible for producing high-quality video content for our online Academy, aimed at educating our customers on the features and benefits of the Fresha platform.

To foster a collaborative environment that thrives on face-to-face interactions and teamwork, all Fresha employees work from the office four days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely one day each week. Our London HQ: WeWork, 10 York Rd, London SE1 7ND

What you will be doing

  • Content Planning - Understand the key requirements of our partners and how to translate that into impactful video content, creating courses and guides to enable them to be successful using the Fresha platform
  • Hands on technical expertise - Operate video cameras, audio equipment, and lighting setups to capture professional-grade footage. Use video editing software to create polished and engaging video content. Implement motion graphics and visual effects as needed to enhance the learning experience
  • End to End Video Production - Manage the entire production process, from pre-production planning to post-production editing and final delivery
  • Animations - Using animation to bring the product to life in the videos and show the product in action to both existing and prospective customers
  • Branding and quality - Ensure all video content is of the highest quality, 10x better than anything on the market and meets our brand guidelines
  • Content Management - Organise and manage a video content library, ensuring easy access and retrieval of assets. Monitor and analyse video performance metrics to inform future content production and optimisation.
  • Collaboration - Working closely with the Product Education team, Product Managers and Marketing to produce content that meets the needs of our customer, showcases the power of the Fresha product and meets our exceptionally high quality standards

What we are looking for

  • Experience - minimum of three years experience in video production, preferably in an educational or SaaS environment
  • Planning - Ability to plan and scope content from idea and concept through to finished product including strong storytelling and scriptwriting skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Production - Ability to handle all aspects of shooting, editing and producing video content of all shapes and sizes from short how-to lessons and tutorials to longer courses and hosted content
  • Educational content - Great understanding of how to create engaging and educational content that will allow customers to get the most out of the Fresha product
  • Great collaborator - Ability to communicate effectively across teams to support the planning and creation of video content leveraging expertise from across Fresha
  • Project management - Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
