Business Development Representative

About the Role

As part of our established BDR team in our modern London office, you will work alongside our product, customer success, HR, and development teams. As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at FADEL, you will be expected to build rapport with senior-level decision makers, set meetings, and hand over qualified opportunities to Sales. To effectively represent our company, you will be expected to consistently grow your knowledge of our products and to build your consultative sales skills.

To be a successful candidate, you will be interested in pursuing a career in enterprise software sales, demonstrate a high level of accomplishment in your previous academic and professional careers, and have international experience.

Responsibilities

  • Immerse yourself in the comprehensive understanding of FADEL’s suite of software products, including IPM, Brand Vision, and PictureDesk
  • Articulate the unique value propositions and benefits tailored to meet the diverse needs of prospective customers
  • Dive deep into prospect requirements, pain points, and challenges, crafting a nuanced understanding of the prospective customer’s industry to better align FADEL’s solutions with client needs.
  • Leverage data and market intelligence from industry-leading sales enablement tools to refine customer profiles, anticipate buying cycles, and strategically position FADEL’s offering
  • Become a master of sales enablement tools such as Salesforce, SalesLoft, Clay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo
  • Maintain the accuracy and relevance of the sales database, keep lead statuses up to date, and ensure contact accuracy
  • Identify and target accounts within the Ideal Customer Profile, utilizing available data sources and market trends
  • Craft personalized strategies to engage potential customers and drive interest within the ICP
  • Execute strategic outreach campaigns through various channels, including but not limited to cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn
  • Employ a consultative approach to engage prospects, building trust and credibility. Conduct effective research on prospective customers
  • Nurture leads across the sales lifecycle, from initial contact to opportunity qualification.
  • Conduct thorough lead qualification to ensure a streamlined handover to the sales executives for further development
  • Consistently meet and exceed weekly and monthly target quotas from an input and output perspective
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, including activity metrics, meetings booked, and pipeline development

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years of experience, preferably in software, licensing, publishing, consumer products, media, and entertainment
  • Sales experience, ideally with cold calling
  • Experience with salestech, including Salesforce, Salesloft, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Ability to deeply understand our software products, value drivers, and sales processes to evolve as an enterprise SaaS seller
  • Skills in multitasking, prioritization, and time management
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English, including experience communicating complex, technical topics
  • English fluency a must and at least one European language highly preferred (French, German, Spanish)
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
