The QA Engineer at FADEL would leverage their knowledge and practical experience in QA for developing and executing manual and/or automated tests for FADEL’s software applications, to help ensure FADEL’s solutions work as expected and meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Working with development and product teams to review and analyze product requirements and provide timely feedback.
• Developing, documenting and executing test suites and test cases, covering both UI and API testing
• Developing and executing UI and API test automation scripts using selected tools
• Providing feedback on task dependencies, as well as effort and time estimates
• Reporting issues that may slow down, stop or improve testing progress in a clear, accurate and timely manner
• Providing timely and regular status updates on testing activities to supervisors
• Working closely with your peers to identify deficiencies in current processes, tools and technologies and propose solutions for continuous improvements
• Seeking to improve knowledge of software testing procedures, methodologies and tools

Desired Skills and Experience

• Computer Science or Computer Engineering Degree with 2-5 years of experience in QA
• Good experience developing and executing manual and automated test suites
• Good experience working with test management and issue tracking tools
• Good technical knowledge in: SQL databases, programming languages (Java), GUI and API test automation tools (Selenium WebDriver, Postman, Jmeter)
• Knowledge or experience using source code management tools (SVN) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins) is a plus
• An analytical mindset with a focus on building a career in QA
