As a DevOps engineer at elementˆn, you will<br>work with a highly experienced agile team on the latest emerging technologies.<br>The ideal candidate will have experience in the following skill sets:<br><ul> <li>Containers: Docker, Docker Compose, Swarm, Kubernetes</li> <li>CI/CD: unit tests, Jenkins, Hudson, GitHub</li> <li>Automation: Terraform, Grafana, RightScale</li> <li>Cloud: AWS, Azure</li> </ul>Primary Responsibilities:<br><ul> <li>Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure.</li> <li>Work on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.</li> <li>Support dev teams.</li> <li>Deploy, monitor and support application code on production clusters.</li> <li>Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.</li> <li>Prepare technical documentation.</li> <li>Contribute to the improvement of internal processes and best practices.</li> </ul>Requirements:<br><ul> <li>Familiarity with multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS).</li> <li>Ability to apply DevOps best practices according to the team's needs.</li> <li>Database administration and performance tuning.</li> <li>Experience solving complex problems including performance related issues, utilizing operating system utilities, monitoring and profiling tools.</li> <li>Knowledge in maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines.</li> <li>Good scripting skills.</li> <li>Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Detail oriented with excellent analytical skills.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.</li> </ul> </div>
