You'll contribute to backend systems that serve millions of users, learning from experienced engineers in a high-talent-density environment where you'll grow rapidly while making meaningful contributions to the product.Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of backend services under the guidance of senior engineers
• Build and improve APIs for customer-facing features and internal tools
• Write clean, well-tested code following established patterns and best practices
• Participate in code reviews to learn and improve code quality
• Debug and resolve issues across backend systems
• Collaborate with frontend engineers and product teams to deliver features
• Learn and apply distributed systems concepts in a production environment

Technical Challenges You'll Learn To Tackle

• Understanding traffic patterns during live events and content releases
• Working within microservices architectures at scale
• Processing large volumes of user interactions
• Maintaining performance and reliability across services

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years backend development experience
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Go, Java, Kotlin, Python, or similar)
• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Basic understanding of cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker)
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Go
• Exposure to Kubernetes or container orchestration
• Familiarity with API design and RESTful services
• Understanding of testing methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
• Personal projects or open-source contributions
