Job Summary

We’re looking for a Senior UX Writer to lead UX copy across English, French, and Arabic for Anghami and OSN+, enhancing user experiences through clear, concise, and engaging content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and lead UX writing across mobile, web, and TV platforms for Anghami and OSN+, aligning with each brand’s tone of voice and guidelines.
  • Craft intuitive, effective copy that guides users seamlessly through the app, covering everything from default interface text to subscription and upgrade flows.
  • Write and optimize default user journeys to ensure clarity and a smooth experience across all touchpoints.
  • Develop and maintain UX copy style guides for both platforms to ensure consistency and reinforce each brand’s identity.
  • Collaborate closely with product designers, product managers, and other stakeholders on a variety of initiatives, including:
    • New user journeys
    • Journey optimizations
    • Landing pages
    • SMS, Email, and Push Notifications
  • Incorporate feedback and insights to continuously improve copy for clarity, usability, and engagement.

Tasks Overview

  • Subscription journey and communications, including emails, push notifications
  • Cancellation flow
  • Partnerships landing pages (including special offers, redeem)
  • Error scenarios
  • Grace period journey and communications, including emails, push notifications
  • Churn journey communications, including emails and push notifications
  • Enhancements on existing journeys and screens (My list, sign up/log in screen, etc.)
  • Subscription repricing emails and dialogues
  • Soundtrack list revamp
  • Update payment method journey
  • New shows landing pages (The White Lotus, The Last of Us)
  • Restart subscription journey
  • Weekly watchlist email guidelines

Requirements

  • Proven experience writing UX copy in English and Arabic, with working proficiency in French.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles and user behavior.
  • Experience working with Figma.
  • Familiarity with POEditor is a plus.
