About the Role:

As a Social Media Executive, you’ll play an integral role in supporting and shaping the social media presence of OSN+ and Anghami across key platforms. You will share ideas, identify opportunities, and help adapt the overarching strategy to fit platform trends and audience behaviors.

Working closely with the Social Media Manager, you’ll help bring content calendars to life, monitor and interpret performance, and ensure that every piece of content and interaction aligns with brand objectives. This is a great opportunity for someone who is not only creative and detail-oriented, but also curious about the why behind social media strategy.

You’ll collaborate with brand, creative, and content teams to ensure our voice, visuals, and engagement are cohesive and impactful across all social platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Support & Planning

  • Support in planning and refining social strategies that align with platform trends and business goals.
  • Participate in weekly content and campaign planning meetings, offering ideas based on platform insights, trends, and audience behavior.
  • Contribute to the development of platform-specific approaches, ensuring concepts and content formats are optimized for each platform.

Content Development and Execution

  • Collaborate with in-house creative teams and agencies to help develop high-impact, locally relevant social content.
  • Assist with planning, publishing and scheduling daily content across platforms, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Design and create basic social media posts (static, carousel, stories, and short-form video) using tools like Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Spot real-time trends and recommend reactive content ideas that fit the brand’s tone and priorities.
  • Manage comment replies and interactions to foster a positive community environment.

Performance & Monitoring

  • Track content performance, audience engagement, and social trends.
  • Help compile regular reports highlighting successes, learnings, and opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry benchmarks to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support with community listening, identifying patterns in sentiment, feedback, and opportunities to spark conversation.
  • Stay on top of platform trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with brand, content, CRM, and product teams to ensure social media reflects broader business and user engagement goals.
  • · Assist with influencer content coordination where needed.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Educations: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Media or a related field
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a social media, digital marketing, preferably in entertainment, media, or digital platforms.
  • Familiarity with publishing and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Meta Business Manager, TikTok Analytics).
  • Experience working with influencers and social media creators.
  • Knowledge of design and creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar is a strong plus.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is required
  • Passionate about social media, pop culture, and digital storytelling.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Confident communicator with excellent writing skills
  • Proactive, collaborative, and flexible in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
